Kyruus Health, a care access platform, is partnering with Abundant Health Acquisition (aha!), a health experience company, to integrate Kyruus Health's care access platform with aha"s "low-code/no-code" platform directly within a health system's digital experience platform.
The two companies aim to deliver data-driven patient access that includes a data foundation for seamless patient access.
According to Kyruus, their platform unifies disparate data across EHRs, credentialing systems and content management platforms.
The structured data interconnects experiences, allowing for unified search and scheduling, chatbots and mobile apps.
Meanwhile, aha!'s low-code/no-code health experience platform aims to help marketing teams deploy and update digital health tools to lower operational costs and permit organizations to quickly adjust to patient needs.
The companies assert that the combination of both platforms will allow patients to more easily navigate the intricacies of healthcare, access clear and precise information, and make informed decisions.
"With digital experience playing an increasingly strategic role in healthcare, organizations need solutions that not only drive engagement but also optimize patient acquisition flow by directing people to the right action, whether that's self-scheduling an appointment or providing an answer to their question," Lesley Weisenbacher, senior vice president of marketing at Kyruus Health, said in a statement.
"By combining Kyruus Connect, Kyruus Health's care access platform, with aha!'s innovative Health Experience Platform, we're empowering health systems to create more intuitive, flexible digital experiences built on a solid data foundation that aligns with patient needs and organizational goals," she said.
Paul Dain, CEO of aha!, said he is seeing a shift in healthcare, including an evolving landscape and health systems turning to new technologies to complement their internal resources and more fully leverage the platform investments they have made.
"Our combined solution helps organizations stand out by enabling them to deliver efficient, scalable and highly engaging digital experiences that meet the needs of today's patients, all while streamlining operations and reducing costs," Dain said in a statement.
THE LARGER TREND
In 2022, Kyruus purchased patient engagement company Epion Health for an undisclosed sum. The companies said the combined entity will work with more than 500 health systems and medical groups.
Last year, patient engagement company Upfront entered into an agreement with athenahealth through the company's Marketplace program. As part of athenahealth Marketplace, Upfront's integration leverages patient data to streamline outreach and boost operational efficiency across the care continuum.
